I have made a start on the Amaya top in the Rowan Bamboo Tape. It grew really fast and I have just cast off the back. It used 4 and a half balls so plenty left for the front. The fabric is really drapey and the sizing seems to be working out very well.
There is A LOT of stocking stitch though!!
For the first few rows I was trying to knit keeping the tape flat but that just caused the working yarn to twist ever tighter and I kept having to unwind it every few rows. The key is to hold the working yarn loosely and let the twist knit in as you go along. It doesn’t cause a problem with the fabric and stops all that twisting building up.
