Although I have finished reading this book, I’m not too sure I can give it a review as it is a book I feel I need to read again, and maybe again after that. It will certainly be a reference book for me in my practice of mindfulness.
I have only recently discovered mindfulness and have just completed an 8 week evening class (one evening a week). I think you would need to do something like that before reading this book, as you will be given guided meditations to do regularly rather than just jump in and try to learn to be with the breath etc from a book. However, the background and explanations in this book are very good if you are already practising.
The book is written in an easy to read style, but you do need to concentrate a bit, and I found myself going back and re-reading paragraphs.
