Louisa Harding, knitwear and yarn designer, is coming to my LYS for Yarn Shop Day on 3rd May. She came once before when she was promoting her Himalayan Trek for MacMillan. This time she is bringing garments from her book, Knits from an English Rose, and will be talking to customers informally. She has also agreed to an interview with The Baarmygirls Podcast!!! So Jane and I are putting together some questions, but here is your chance to get involved – what would you ask Louisa Harding? Leave your questions in the comments or you can email them to firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are in the Chester/Wrexham/N Wales/Merseyside area, come along to Stash Fine Yarns on May 3rd and meet her in person. We’ll be open from 11-5, but Louisa will be getting there sometime after lunch. We will be having tea & coffee, and some regulars are making cakes and biscuits, including a carrot cake from me. And there are also some goodie bags to be had! All the staff will be in, and we will be demonstrating techniques you may be unsure of. Personally I shall be demonstrating Kitchener Stitch for grafting, and showing how to do Judy’s Magic Cast On.
Hope you can make it, it’s going to be a fab day, Andy from Chester Wool Company will also be there with his yarns and some Fyberspates too.
And don’t forget those questions!!!
